She got hitched to Prince William back in April, and now Kate Middleton's wedding dress is being displayed at Buckingham Palace.
The Duchess of Cambridge’s ivory and white Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gown can be viewed by the public during tours, and is absolutely magnificent.
For the momentous occasion, Kate and Queen Elizabeth toured the exhibit during what was estimated to be a record-breaking season of visitors.
Curator Caroline de Guitaut explained, "Visitors will see what a great example of British couture it is. And how much detail and how much work went into the creation of this dress. The beauty really is in the detail."
She added, "The sumptuousness of the lace flowers sewn onto the skirt and bodice, the deep vertical pleats that fall gracefully from the waistline to the hem, the train's elaborate individual panels, which were deliberately engineered to hold their shape as the bride walked the long aisle."
