Kate Middleton-British Royal Fashion Icon


Middleton chooses a casual ensemble for her grocery store run: white v-neck shirt, skinny jeans, ballet flats and a green sweater with ruffles.




The Duchess met Michelle Obama at Buckingham Palace in a short-sleeved, beige Reiss shift and black pumps. The dress, made by the same designer of her white engagement portrait frock, sold out in the U.S. and crashed the retailer's website.

For the evening reception hosted by Prince Charles, Middleton chose a Sarah Burton designed gown with a similar sweetheart neckline as her Westminster Abbey dress, but without the lace overlay. Kate accessorized the ensemble, which looked to be the shell of her wedding gown, with a diamond waistband and a matching white cardigan.


Kate Middleton meets athletes in a navy blue suit on a visit to Witton Country Park in Darwen, England, in what was her final appearance before her wedding to Prince William.


On a trip to Northern Ireland, Kate Middleton wore a trench coat by the British design house. The jacket, like many of Middleton's other clothing pieces, sold out online within a day of her appearance in it


Middleton wore red to commemorate the 600th anniversary of her and Prince William's alma mater, St. Andrew's University, where they first met.



In her first official royal duty after announcing her engagement to Prince William, Middleton wore another coat with a classic silhouette, this time accessorized with a feather headpiece.
