Making their second stop since touching down at LAX Airport, Prince William and Kate Middleton were the guests of honor at a private reception at the British Consul-General's residence in Los Angeles on Friday evening (July 8).
With the Duchess of Cambridge clad in a "maja" green silk Diane Von Furstenberg dress, the couple were greeted with kind words by host of the soiree, British ambassador to the United States Sir Nigel Sheinwald.
During the course of the festivities, William spent much of his time chatting with soccer star David Beckham while Catherine mingled with the likes of TV producer Nigel Lythgoe and various California government officials.
As for their Saturday schedule, the Prince and his lady will be attending a polo match in Santa Barbara, CA where William will be playing while Kate will hand out prizes.
